Dogs Plus – Improvements Update

You may add on Dogs Plus to get a variety of new dog breeds! They are adorable, fluffy, and come in all sizes. Just as in Minecraft, you can tame them, and they will follow you about and guard you.

The dogs in Dogs Plus addon used to be Domestic Pets, but they were relocated because Domestic Pets now have sophisticated behaviors that don’t fit with these models or the simple aesthetic of Domestic Pets. As a result, they now have a separate area to hang out in. grow specifically and in accordance with its constraints!

ABOUT DOGS:

They have quite basic actions, and as this addon is all about diversity, we will have more complex behaviors in a later addon. Generally speaking, some races behave differently from others, whether it be in terms of speed, sounds, or other factors like how challenging it is to locate them in the world… For instance, if you hold one of these in your hand, they will follow you since they adore flesh and blood!

Tame It:

They can be tamed with bone, just like wolves! Tamed dogs follow the player, protect him and help him attack his targets!

Breed and Heal:

Your health can be healed with raw or roasted meat variants, preferably! And if they are fully lived and domesticated, you can breed them using meat variants too!

Spawn:

They normally spawn in any grass-covered biome!

– Dogs should now prioritize following their owner over walking randomly!
– Dogs can now be bred correctly!
– Dogs can no longer lose their defense target!
– Dogs can now be commanded to follow their owner if the owner offers them a leash!
– Seated dogs must now remain seated under all circumstances!
– Dogs must now prioritize attacking targets and protecting their owner if necessary!
– Only tamed dogs can have their life healed now!
– Breeding dogs can now produce more than one pup, in rarer cases!
– The amount of health healed by a food offered is now 4 per food!
– Dogs’ lives now match their size! (Small -> 20 points, Medium -> 16 points, Large -> 18 points)
– The damage done by a dog now matches its size! (Small -> 2, Medium -> 4, Large -> 6)
– A dog’s speed now matches its size! (Small -> fast, Medium -> normal speed, Large -> a little slow)
– Lead positioned in the correct location on all dogs!
