ExtraBiomes

A custom world generation mod for the Bedrock edition of Minecraft is called ExtraBiomes. introducing a floating Sky city biome, six new underground biomes, and 19 biome-based biomes to the game. Along with the 87 new blocks, 31 new items, 24 new entities, and numerous other features and structures, all of the blocks are PBR mapped, making them compatible with other RTX resource packs if you have a machine with an Nvidia RTX 2060 or higher.

ExtraBiomes

– Please read –

Due to generational changes occurring across A lot of it is broken in versions 1.18 to 1.19 due to the “temporarily” removed ability to generate custom biomes (not features), but it is still enjoyable to play on versions 1.18 to 1.19 thanks to the feature-based biomes like the sky city, underground biomes, and improvements to existing biomes that still work perfectly!

However, if you want to get the most out of ExtraBiomes addon, and you use Windows, I suggest using CarJem Generation’s version switcher, which can be found here: To revert your game back to 1.17.11 with the caves and cliffs, go to https://bedrocklauncher.github.io. A detailed explanation on how to do this can be found at the bottom of the page, but please be sure to back up your save data when prompted—this is crucial! Be warned: it’s quite likely you’ll lose your worlds if you don’t do this. If you have any questions, please post them in the comments section below or, for faster response, contact me via the social media accounts listed above, including the one for carJems on Twitter and the one for Instagram.

Biomes

Before 1.18

– Charred forest –

ExtraBiomes

The biome of the burned forest There are still traces of fire and smoke throughout this biome, which is found in warm areas where it was so hot that all of the vegetation was burned to a burning pile of basalt.

– The floating Jungle –

ExtraBiomes

The waters you may find here may be overrun with piranhas (see below), gigantic tortoises (see below), and tree frogs. The floating jungle is a jungle biome on top of steep cliffs with deep gauges flowing through the cliffs where jungle rivers have cut their way through the thick layers of rock (not Minecraft frogs, see below) all spawn here, in the cliffside caves, and in the underground jungle in the ground below (see below).

– The Fungal Jungle –

ExtraBiomes

The fungal jungle forms when a jungle meets a mushroom island. Patches of mycelium are spread across the ground to give hopping spores (see below) and mushrooms a place to live, and the dense jungle around there’s clearings contains many mushrooms, including the 10 new colors and varieties of mushrooms added in Extrabiomes. In addition, an underground mushroom and an underground mushroom biome both coexist in peace beneath the surface of the ground.

– The jungle marsh –

ExtraBiomes

The jungle marsh is a swamp-like habitat found inside rainforests. Here, piranhas spawn in large numbers, as well as mushrooms, swamp trees (oak trees with vines), miniature jungle trees in shallow sections, and tree stumps below the water’s surface. If you enter these waters, exercise caution.

– The Frozen Mesa –

ExtraBiomes

Ever pondered what a mesa biome would undergo throughout the winter? In most ways, the frozen mesa is just like the conventional mesa, except that it is in a colder environment and also develops the underground mesa (See Below).

– The Frozen Mesa Plateau –

ExtraBiomes

The frozen mesa has a plateau variation, which is the same as the ordinary frozen mesa but with a plateau (the large flat hill on top), just like the regular mesa.

The Frozen Mesa Bryce –

ExtraBiomes

This is a variation of the frozen mesa, much like the frozen mesa plateau, except instead of being a large flat hill, it is basically the standard frozen mesa with the Bryce pillars.

– The lush Mesa –

ExtraBiomes

A lush mesa forms when a mesa becomes humid enough to sustain a jungle biome. In this biome, there is a bottom portion where a jungle spawns, but higher up it is still too dry for a jungle to spread, hence higher up there are patches of terracotta and under lakes. All of the stone has been replaced with terracotta, and the floors are entirely underground jungle with grass, flora, and jungle trees. All of the creatures that spawn in jungles will also spawn here, and like in mesas, gold is abundant. This area is located beneath a lush mesa.

The Lush Mesa Bryce –

ExtraBiomes

The green mesa Bryce is my favorite biome so far in Extrabiomes; it is quite similar to the common lush mesa but features the Bryce pillars from the mesa Bryce biomes as well as several small lakes all over the place, which look lovely but I wouldn’t go swimming in them if I were you because they are teeming with piranhas!

– The Shattered Swamp –

ExtraBiomes

The shattered swamp is a subtype of the swamp biome with terrain generation resembling that of the shattered savanna biome. It differs from a typical swamp in that it contains patches of moss on the ground and bamboo throughout. It also spawns new mushrooms like regular swamps and tree frogs similar to those that spawn in jungles.

– The Mystic Forest –

ExtraBiomes

The Mystic Swamp is a fantasy-style swamp habitat that spawns a mystic tree, a special wood type with a purple color and luminous leaves, as well as purple fog and glowing purple muck on the ground. This biome looks especially good when used with RTX graphics cards.

– The moorlands –

ExtraBiomes

The moorlands biome is a hilly lowlands biome, covered in long grass, and podzol, with lots of lakes dotted around the land, lots of animals will spawn here as it is a perfect environment for a lot of wildlife.

– The Futuristic Desert –

ExtraBiomes

The first biome uploaded before ExtraBiomes was even intended to become what it is today, I was only trying to duplicate a custom biome I constructed around my base, the futuristic desert, which is a very unique custom desert biome with white concrete being utilized as sand and small futuristic trees. In a world, but do keep in mind that this biome is uncommon for a reason since there’s a risk that if a block is updated and a lot of concrete powder is turned into concrete at once, it can crash, so maybe don’t do that, eh?

– Jellyfish fields –

ExtraBiomes

The Jellyfish fields Is a reference to the jellyfish fields in the cartoon SpongeBob, the jellyfish mob (see below) spawns here, the floor is covered with grass stone which is a custom block in the mod (see below) and there are custom corral structures and sea pickles covering the floor

– The Tropical Island –

ExtraBiomes

The chain of islands that make up the Tropical Island biome are found in warm or lukewarm oceans; they are sandy islands covered in grass and vegetation like moss carpets and melons, as well as palm trees, which are a special tree type that can be found both here and on beaches. The islands also have a shallow coral reef that is present all around them.

The Glacier –

ExtraBiomes

With lower layers housing Ice Caves where Lapis has a higher chance of spawning, the glacier is a very deep block of ice that extends from its top, which is the height of a typical hill, all the way down to bedrock. Higher up, regular unpacked ice can be found, again with caves running through; this again can get patches of stone and dirt running through; and all ores that would have been found there can still be found. Finally, on top is a thick layer of snow. The Ice caves lower down will primarily be made from packed Ice with patches of stone and dirt floating in the Ice.

Tiaga Spikes –

ExtraBiomes

In my opinion, the taiga spikes biome is a vast improvement over the vanilla ice spikes biome, giving it much more life. It is a version of the ice spikes biome that features everything you would find in a snowy taiga environment.

Some Biome addons for Minecraft PE are similar to ExtraBiomes you can check in Mcpeaddons.com:

Underground Biomes:

The underground lush mesa –

ExtraBiomes
ExtraBiomes
ExtraBiomes

Similar to the subterranean jungle, the underground lush mesa grows beneath lush mesa biomes. Like the underground mesa, it is composed of terracotta rather than stone.

– The Underground Glacier –

ExtraBiomes
ExtraBiomes
ExtraBiomes

Underneath a glacial biome, there is an underground glacier with caves built of ice at higher layers and packed ice deeper down where the ice has been crushed. Lapis is widespread here. Aquafers are created when this biome’s ice melts and crystallizes.

The Underground Fungal Jungle –

ExtraBiomes
ExtraBiomes
ExtraBiomes

The underground fungal jungle is a mixture between an underground jungle and an underground mushroom island, so mushrooms and jungle vegetation grow throughout the biome as well as all of the jungle mobs and the hopping spores from the mushroom islands.

The Sky City –

The sky city is a floating metropolis that can be found in the sky on all versions of the planet, where a large cloud will create a city on top of it and a little forest on surrounding clouds composed of brand-new sky trees. There will be a few blocks in the center of the sky city, and when one of them receives a random tick, the sky city will generate, with a network of routes, buildings, and fountains sprouting from them and allowing the player to swim up to them. , There are spawners for the hostile harpy mob, which attacks you with blasts of razor-like feathers that resemble throwing knives, in the tall structures. When dropped, these razor wings can be utilized as weapons (see in the items section below, for the razor feather and its upgrades). Up here, you can also find loot chests that are filled with a variety of goods, mostly gold.

Underground biomes:

The underground Jungle –

ExtraBiomes

All jungle biomes will eventually spawn an underground jungle; in these biomes, a layer of dirt sediment has been dumped into the cave systems and over time has become overgrown, first with grass, then with moss and azalea bushes, and finally with trees and bamboo. The glow berries above emit light that enables these underground plants to engage in photosynthesis in order to survive. The huge tortoise, piranhas, frogs, parrots, and other animals you could find in a cave may all be found in this ecosystem.

The underground Mushroom island –

ExtraBiomes

Extra Biome

Under normal mushroom biomes, an underground mushroom biome will appear. In this biome, the floors have all been covered in mycelium, and mushrooms have grown on top of it. In addition to the 9 new mushroom colors, including the glow mushrooms, there are also some additional designs for vanilla red and brown mushrooms. And this is where the jumping spore mob will spawn. As it hops around, it leaves a trail of spore dust that encourages the growth of new mushrooms.

Mobs

– The Giant tortoise –

ExtraBiomes

– Jellyfish –

ExtraBiomes

Being too close to a jellyfish will cause it to hurt you. You can trap it in a jellyfishing net or click it with a glass bottle to receive a jar of jellyfish jam. Jellyfish are a mob that will produce jellyfish fields and less frequently warm waters.

– Treefrogs –

ExtraBiomes

Treefrogs are frogs that are distinct from typical frogs in that they can jump higher and drop frogs legs when killed, which may either be cooked or used to produce a frog hat that both you and your dog can wear. They can be found in jungle biomes and its variants as well as swamps and mangrove swamps.

– The worm –

Worm mobs can be found all over the overworld, but they are most frequently encountered during rainstorms or thunderstorms. Worm mobs can be used to craft bait, a throwable item that can be used to frighten the piranha mob away from you when you are crossing water in jungle biomes, lush mesa biomes, and underground jungle biomes.

– The harpy –

ExtraBiomes

The harpy mob, a flying mob that will attack you by hurling a volley of razor feathers at you, may be found in the sky city, either by spawning in or from the spawners that can be located inside of the towers in the sky city. When they strike you, razor feathers, which resemble throwing knives, do modest amounts of damage. The razor frathers that the harpies drop after they die are thrown like snowballs after use, but they can be picked up where they land and upgraded to diamond and netherite versions as well.

Piranha’s –

ExtraBiomes

The piranha is a dangerous hostile mob that spawns throughout the various jungle biomes, occasionally in mangrove swamps, and in extrabiomes. While a single piranha won’t hurt you, these mobs spawn in very large groups, which can result in you being eaten up very quickly if you fall into piranha-infested waters. Try to avoid falling in, and if you do, make sure you have some bait with you. Bait can be made

The hopping spores –

ExtraBiomes

In the mushroom island, fungal jungle, and underground mushroom island, jumping spores are a common mob. A warped and crimson variety will spawn in the warped and crimson biomes. The hopping spores are tiny mushrooms that come in 12 different colors. They jump around the fungus and mushroom biomes while generating a squeaky sound and scattering spores behind them, which have a chance to develop into the hopping spores type of mushroom. The hopping spores can be bred to produce baby versions by feeding them any type of mushroom, but since they won’t choose a partner on their own, you might have to prod them to locate another one.

Blocks

– Sky Wood –

ExtraBiomes

– Gilded sky wood –

ExtraBiomes

Gilded sky wood is a variation of sky wood that has been infused with gold; to create it, take the block’s original sky wood form and manufacture it with a gold ingot to create the gilded form of that block. However, not all sky wood blocks have this variety.

Mystic Wood –

ExtraBiomes

The mystic trees are a big purple tree with flowery leaves, as can be seen above. Mystic timber may be discovered in the mystic forest biome, or mystic saplings can be traded by the wondering trader for players in 1.19.

Palm wood –

ExtraBiomes

Palm trees occur in three sizes, and its bark is distinct from that of other trees. Palm wood can be found on tropical islands and along beaches.

Stick piles –

ExtraBiomes

Stick heaps can be created with 9 sticks on a crafting table or found produced around your globe in piles. The stick pile blocks can be arranged in any way and make for a pretty attractive aesthetic element in your base.

Grass stone –

ExtraBiomes

Apart from having a rare easter egg texture to uncover, grass stone can be found covering the seafloor in jellyfish fields. However, because moss wasn’t yet included in the game when this block was made, it’s possible that it will eventually be replaced with moss.

Dense clouds –

ExtraBiomes

The dense clouds that make up the sky city’s base may be constructed into slabs and staircases, and when RTX is turned on, the blue components will also appear reflected as seen above.

Goo –

ExtraBiomes

Goo is a flammable, slow-moving block that is used as liquid in the mystic swamp biome. If it were possible, I would like for this block to be a liquid, but at the moment, custom liquids are not possible, so it is a block for now. If you place goo on a campfire or soul campfire, you can also dry it out and turn it into a slime ball.

Mushrooms –

ExtraBiomes

There are nine new hues and varieties of mushrooms that will appear in your world; they all function similarly to vanilla mushrooms but come in these new varieties, such as glow mushrooms that may be found in caves all around the world to provide some illumination in the dim spaces.
